Hogan Auto Electric is located in Blyry Industrial Estate, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. The business was founded in 1985 by Eugene Hogan. Over the years Eugene built up a steady business and provided excellent one-to-one customer service. Unfortunately Eugene had to retire early from the business in 2015 due to illness. Alan Hogan, Eugene’s eldest son took over the business from September 2015.
Alan comes from a strong mechanical background. He has 20 years’ experience as a mechanic and workshop manager.
Hogan Auto Electric repair and sells the electrical components in motor engines - alternators and starter motors. We offer our service to many industries including motor, HGV, agricultural, marine and industrial. Hogan Auto Electrical also provides reconditioned starters and alternators. Although this is our core business but we have expanded our range of services to include Diagnostics, Vehicle Repair and Servicing and Air Conditioning.
Hogan Auto Electric offers a ‘One-Stop-Shop', where a vehicle can be taken in for service/repair and electrical issues if any can be addressed at the same time. Ultimately this will mean a better job for the customer as all of the issues with the vehicle will be looked after under one roof resulting in a keener price on the overall job and a quick turnaround time.
